Privacy,in plain words.
Draft. This page describes how Mirven is built to handle data during the private beta. It will be replaced by a full policy before general release.
The Mirven app
Mirven runs on your computer or on a server you control. Your project files, plans, memory notes and run history are stored on that machine, in your project and in Mirven's own data folder. They are not sent to us.
When an agent works, it uses the model provider you signed in with, such as Anthropic's Claude Code or OpenAI's Codex. What the agent sends to that provider is governed by your agreement with them, not by us.
Note ranking (Jev) is off by default. If you turn it on, then whenever there is something to rank, part of the request text and short excerpts of the candidate context (memory, role and job notes, other notes kept in that project's Mirven notes folder, reports and skills) are sent to the ranking provider you connect (Vercel AI Gateway, TypeSafe or Cloudflare), under your own account with them.
On Windows, secrets you give Mirven, like API keys, are stored encrypted with Windows' protection for your user account.
This website
If you request beta access, we keep your email address, your engine, your team size and anything you write about your project, only to decide on seats and to write to you. Write to [email protected] and we delete it.
The site and the form are hosted on Cloudflare. Your request is stored there, and Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it safe. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To limit abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for 30 days, not the address itself.
When you send the form, we email you a confirmation and send ourselves a copy of your request. These emails go through our mail provider, Spacemail.
